Jo Gale (she/her)is a movement educator, a body liberation advocate and a community organizer.She aims to help humans shift their relationships with their body through joyful movement. She sequences her classes, workshops and other offerings with the ideas of a yoga practice, the mechanics of contemporary Pilates, and the expression and freedom of dance.

FAVOURITE FREE WAY TO UNWIND IS:
I love sitting down in a really hot shower for a while. I don’t do it often because it's not the best for water consumption. But ever since I became a mom, my showers have gotten much faster and utilitarian, so I lavish a good steamy shower sit.
WHEN I NEED TO CRY I…
I do. I don't actually cry that easily, but kids movies always make me cry. Powerful music makes me cry. My cat passing away this summer made me cry a lot, and that felt strange, but also like an important release. Crying is good sometimes.
